The Oscar's Queen

I met Meryl Streep when I watched The Devil Wears Prada (2006). I was 13 years old, but I could see the amazing actress that woman who plays Miranda Priestly was.

Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly (2006).
She get the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.

I saw her again on Mamma Mia! (2008). I couldn't believe she sings! And that movie made me fall in love by musicals.

As Donna, in Mamma Mia! (2008).
With Christine Baranski and Julie Walters.

In 2010 I laughed with Jane, from It's Complicated (2009), a divorced woman who has an affair with her ex-husband (now married with a younger woman).

With Alec Baldwin, the ex-husband.

This three movies show how good she can play so different roles.

Her last movie, The Iron Lady, portays Margaret Thatcher with a new perspective. In spite of playing a minister, she sparkle like a queen on the screen.

The Iron Lady (2011).

This year she won her third Academy Award. The British Prime Minister who was the first woman to occupy the position gaves her the prize of Best Actress.

At Oscar 2012.

A round of applause for Meryl Streep!
